Summer School
If you would like to enroll in summer school, please contact your counselor.
Summer School is primarily for students for credit recovery. Credit Recovery: Students who need to make-up a course previously attempted (before the final school year term) or students who are behind in credit will be accommodated in summer school.

*Summer School is only available for incoming 10, 11, and 12 grade students.
2024 Summer School Dates: June 12 - July 26, 2024
Session 1: June 12 - July 3
Session 2: July 18 - July 26
Location: On-line using the Edgenuity Platform (American Literature 1-2, High School English 1, 2, 3, 4) with a weekly meeting via Zoom with the assigned course instructor. The meeting time(s) will be determined by the teacher and the student at the time the student is enrolled.
And/OR
On-line using Canvas (Math 1A-1B, 2A-2B, 3A-3B, History, PE, Health and Biology*) with twice weekly live Zoom meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm.
*Please note that Biology 1, 2 will require students to attend a weekly IN-PERSON lab at Mt. Carmel High School (room TBD). The lab will be offered on Thursdays from 8:00am-12:00pm.
How many courses can a student enroll in: Each student will be able to take no more than 2 courses in summer school.
If you have questions or want to enroll in a summer school course, students should see their school counselor during break, lunch, or after school. Students and families will be notified of summer school placement no later than Thursday, May 26, 2024. Students and families MUST ACCEPT their placement in the course and affirm their commitment to attend by May 30, 2024 or their placement may be forfeited to another student.

*Acceleration: Students who would like to request a summer school course for the purpose of acceleration will be accommodated on a very limited basis depending upon availability of space. Applications will be prioritized based on grade level and will be determined by lottery.
